Barcelona stars reveal favourite music artists with Spotify Wrapped
Barcelona’s listening habits have been revealed with Spotify Wrapped.
Spotify Wrapped has become a staple of the winter months, revealing whether you're in your Boujee Strut Rap era or more of a Heatwave Beach Reggaeton phase.
For Barcelona, the arrival of Spotify Wrapped welcomes dressing room chats - or more debates - over who has the greatest music taste in Catalonia. Luckily for fans, Spotify have revealed the players' top tracks so we can decide for ourselves.
Fashionista Jules Kounde's music taste reflects his love of streetwear, playing 31,638 minutes of hip-hop tunes. Kendrick Lamar was the right-back's most played artist of 2024, with J. Cole, JAY-Z, Drake and Benny The Butcher forming the remainder of his list.
Wonderkid Lamine Yamal certainly has time for the tunes, listening to 36,400 minutes worth of music - more than any of his teammates. The 17-year-old's top artist was Spanish rapper Morad, while Beny Jr, Myke Towers, Dei V and Anuel AA made up the rest of his list.
The Golden Boy is clearly a fan of the rap scene but, as per Spotify, Yamal's year consisted of Snowy Sad Trap Spanish Drill and Heatwave Latin Viral Pop Reggaeton phases - naturally.
Prolific goalscorer Robert Lewandowski spends a little less time with his headphones than his younger colleagues, listening to just 6,082 minutes on Spotify throughout 2024. Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny tops Lewandowski's list - news that will surely be of interest to the King of Latin Trap who released an iconic adidas collection with Lionel Messi in October.
Raphinha embraced his Witchy Ritual Umbanda phase with Thiaguinho at the top of his list. LUDMILLA, Ferrugem, Mumuzinho and Antonio Carlos de Xango were also named in his top five - a man of variety.
Branching back into the rap scene, left-back Alejandro Balde tuned into 19,829 minutes of music, with French artist Tiakola topping the list. Lil Baby, Burna Boy, Gunna and MHD were also given airtime by the 21-year-old during his Smoothy Hollywood Afrobeats phase.
The Catalan's partnership with Spotify saw them celebrate each player's year in music before presenting their stars with a bespoke shirt.
