How social media reacted to Man Utd’s 2-1 loss to Fulham in the 97th minute.
I guess things must have been going a little too well for Manchester United.
The Red Devils went into Saturday's clash with Fulham off the back of four straight Premier League wins, while they were unbeaten in a further three matches across all competitions to begin 2024.
But that was about to change.

Forson was given the nod ahead of Antony, who couldn't buy a start even on his birthday.
For all the talk of Antony being Ten Hag's favourite, the winger hasn't started in the Premier League in 2024.

And Ten Hag has opted to go with Forson in the line up than restore Antony to the line up. On Antony's birthday.
Anyone still trying to shout at Ten Hag for having Antony as a favourite? Hasn't started for United in the league this year and today he's taking a chance on 19 year old Forson rather than repeating something he obviously sees as a problem. That's a really good sign from Ten Hag.

It was a nervy start for the hosts at Old Trafford, with Alex Iwobi squandering two early chances for Fulham on the counter attack.

But that wasn't to be the be-all-and-end-all. Deep into nine minutes of added time, Iwobi - who missed the game's first flurry of chances - buried the final one of the day to wrap up the points for Fulham.
