Arda Guler: Surprise Bundesliga club offers ‘unsatisfied’ Real Madrid star escape route

Arda Guler is growing increasingly restless with his limited involvement for Real Madrid, according to reports.
Eintracht Frankfurt are keeping tabs on Real Madrid's under-used forward Arda Guler in the hope of luring him to the Bundesliga, according to a report in Germany.
Guler arrived at Madrid in the summer of 2023 amid much fanfare, but has been limitted to just 15 starts across all competitions over the subsequent 18 months. The 20-year-old enjoyed a prolific conclusion to his debut campaign in Spain, racking up five goals across his final five top-flight appearances before starring for Turkey at Euro 2024.
Arsenal were one of several sides linked with a move for Guler during this year's winter window only for the talented forward to remain in the Spanish capital.
Nothing "concrete" has yet been agreed and Guler is just one name on Frankfurt's list of targets, but the Turkish prodigy is described as "not entirely satisfied" with his situation at Real Madrid and is thought to be open to a transfer.
Spanish reports go one step further and suggest that the spindly playmaker has already decided that he wants a permanent exit this summer.
The difficulty for Guler is that he finds himself vying for a forward-thinking position against some of the best players in the world. Kylian Mbappe had to battle his way into the striker position and is flanked by Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo with a certain Jude Bellingham pushing forward from midfield.
Carlo Ancelotti has little time for those questioning Guler's gradual integration. "I read that there's a 'Guler problem', but there is no case here," the Italian coach huffed last month. "It's a process - for him and for all young players. The same happened with Rodrygo, Vinicius, [Federico] Valverde... He needs time to integrate into the best squad in the world. Everyone understands that. And those who don't, need to."
