Arsenal's quest to make up ground in the Premier League title race took another blow when they were held to a lethargic 0-0 draw with Everton on Saturday.
Everton were more than happy to sit deep and frustrate their hosts, who didn't manage a shot on target until the 30th minute in a first half that was expertly broken up by Sean Dyche's hard-working side.
There was more life about Arsenal after the break, with Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka combining well at times, but Jordan Pickford repelled every half-chance sent his way as Arsenal continued to struggle to find a way through Everton's stubborn defence.
