Barcelona may have to look elsewhere if they are to raise funds this summer, with 35-year-old Robert Lewandowski reported to be keen to remain with the La Liga side.

If the Spanish giants are to recruit new talent in the transfer window, they must first initiate sales to raise funds. One player who has been linked with an exit is 35-year-old Lewandowski, with Saudi Arabia touted as a potential destination.

The Polish striker boasts one of the highest salaries in the first team, meaning a sale would definitely generate cash. However, SPORT say he has no interest in departing, forcing Barca to raise funds elsewhere.

Barca will also receive no help from Lewandowski's agent Pini Zahavi, with reports stating that Zahavi is furious that the club have not hired his client Hansi Flick to be their new manager after current boss Xavi U-turned on his decision to leave at the end of the season.

Lewandowski looks to extend his time at Barca for at least another year, leaving club officials searching for other options for their summer sales.

The Polish star joined Barca in 2022 after reaching the end of his contract with Bayern Munich. He accrued 33 goals in his debut campaign, helping the side reach title glory.
