Mohamed Salah fires ominous Premier League title warning to Arsenal & Man City

Mohamed Salah sends a strong warning to Liverpool’s Premier League rivals about next season’s title race.
Mohamed Salah has warned Liverpool's Premier League title rivals that he is already thinking about lifting the trophy next season as well.
The Reds have been runaway leaders for the vast majority of the season and finally secured their title at the weekend courtesy of an emphatic 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
The celebrations saw Salah admit he felt this latest triumph was "way better" that lifting the title in the 2019/20 season under Jurgen Klopp, but the Egyptian's focus soon turned to retaining their crown next season.
"All teams win games but in the end there's only one champion. That's what history remembers and this applies to next season as well."
Thankfully for Liverpool, Salah will be around to help Liverpool's title bid next season after inking a new two-year contract, shortly before star centre-back Virgil van Dijk did the same. The 32-year-old has 28 Premier League goals to his name and is just two away from tying the single-season assist record of 20.
The Reds are, however, likely to be without right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is expected to take his talents to Real Madrid on a free transfer, although Dutch winger Cody Gakpo hinted at a possible U-turn for the England international during his own title celebrations.
Arsenal are hoping to take Liverpool's crown next season, while Manchester City will likely be back in the race after a surprisingly disappointing campaign saw them ruled out of this season's race months ago. Chelsea, seen as Liverpool's greatest threat in December before a torrid run of form sent them tumbling down the table, will also hope to be back in the mix.
