Ruben Amorim reveals double Man Utd injury boost

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim offered injury updates on Leny Yoro and the rest of his squad.
Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim offered two encouraging injury updates after his side battled out a 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
The Portuguese boss not only played down concerns over the fitness of Leny Yoro, who was forced off at half-time against the Gunners, but revealed that United could also welcome Manuel Ugarte back for Thursday's crucial Europa League tie against Real Sociedad.
Yoro was part of a United backline which managed to weather a first-half assault from Arsenal at Old Trafford. The Gunners limited their hosts to 33% possession and just one off-target shot before giving away a free-kick on the edge of the box in stoppage time. Bruno Fernandes, United's familiar beacon of hope, beat David Raya from 25 yards to give the Red Devils a shock 1-0 lead.
United's newly defiant head coach was also asked about the glut of injured players who missed Sunday's stalemate. The Red Devils were without ten senior figures and named a bench with no player older than 22.
However, heading into the second leg of their Europa League last 16 tie against Real Sociedad, Amorim hinted at a return for one of his midfield enforcers.
"Maybe Ugarte," he revealed. "I don't know, we'll see."
Ugarte sat out the first leg against La Real with an undisclosed complaint, watching on from afar as his teammates had the better chances in San Sebastian but were still held to a 1-1 draw.
Fellow midfielders Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount are not expected back until after this month's international break, while there is also hope that defenders Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans are nearing their own return dates. Lisandro Martinez is out for the season with an ACL tear but Amorim admitted that Amad Diallo could be back before the campaign's conclusion in May.
