West Ham vs Newcastle: Preview, predictions and lineups

West Ham host Newcastle in the Premier League on Monday night. Preview includes team news, predictions and how to watch on TV.
Premier League Gameweek 28 concludes on Monday night as West Ham take on Newcastle at the London Stadium.
The Hammers have been regulars on Monday Night Football this season, with the two sides facing off on a Monday back in November. Julen Lopetegui enjoyed one of the very few high points of his West Ham tenure at St James' Park as Aaron Wan-Bissaka starred in a surprise 2-0 win for the visitors.
It's been a tough campaign for the east Londoners, but they head into their upcoming bout off the back of two consecutive wins. After upsetting Arsenal at the Emirates, West Ham eased past Leicester 2-0 two Thursdays back. Despite their recent upsurge, Graham Potter's side will kick-off on Monday in 16th.
Their dip leaves them in eighth ahead of the Carabao Cup final next Sunday.

West Ham team news
A lengthy ban looms for Lucas Paqueta amid spot-fixing charges, but the Brazilian could be involved on Monday night having recovered from an ankle injury which kept him out of the wins over Arsenal and Leicester.
The Hammers are still without long-term absentees Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug, but Vladimir Coufal is set to return to Potter's squad.
The manager will likely stick with the 3-5-2 which has brought about West Ham's recent success.
West Ham predicted lineup vs Newcastle
West Ham predicted lineup vs Newcastle (3-5-2): Areola; Areola; Todibo, Kilman, Cresswell; Wan-Bissaka, Soucek, Alvarez, Ward-Prowse, Scarles; Kudus, Bowen.
Newcastle team news
The visitors have several notable names missing, including the suspended Anthony Gordon after he was sent off in last week's FA Cup defeat to Brighton.
Newcastle have lost Lewis Hall for the season and Sven Botman for the long-haul. The latter recently underwent knee surgery. Jamaal Lascelles is also out of action.
Howe will hope Kieran Trippier has shaken off his minor back issue to play in Hall's absence, and the manager has also said that leading marksman Alexander Isak is fit after suffering from fatigue in recent weeks.

Newcastle predicted lineup vs West Ham (4-3-3): Pope; Trippier, Schar, Burn, Livramento; Tonali, Guimaraes, Joelinton; Murphy, Isak, Barnes.
West Ham vs Newcastle score prediction
West Ham are well rested and in a decent bit of form entering Monday's game. Potter seems to have stumbled upon an optimal formula for maximising his squad in the absence of a number nine, and the return of Paqueta here, even if he doesn't start, is a big boost.
Newcastle have notable absences, but Isak's availability is a big plus. The Magpies have shown signs of burning out in recent outings after Howe rotated little during their excellent run of form in December and January.
They may suffer in east London, but perhaps a moment from their leading marksman will be enough for them to earn a point.
Prediction: West Ham 1-1 Newcastle
